Ben Johnson (87) won the Waterloo 15K and Amanda Crook (152) set a new course record.
Sally Wareing had another good season, our 2011 performance trophy winner.
The School Mile races produced an epic battle between Charlotte Sinclair and Lauren Clarehugh.  Charlotte won every age group race 2004-2011!
Jon Hunter proved to be one of our best throwers in 2011.
Eleanor Newton won a Northern bronze in the Under 20 Women's 100m hurdles.
Matthew Campbell took a Northern bronze in the Under 15 Boys' 400m.

Many club juniors supported our open T&F meeting in August - the biggest ever

James Tartt was awesome on the track over 800m and 1500m.
Our Snr Women were 1st Merseyside team in the North West road relays in Sefton Park.
Our Under 15 Boys also took county gold at the North West road relays.
Many club runners competed in the Southport Seaside 10K in October
Mark Clarehugh finished 8th in the first marathon staged in Liverpool for 18 years
Senior Women cross country team at Burnley.
Plenty of  Under 11 girls competed in Sportshall Athletics and were rewarded with a place in the NW Regional final.
Runners competed in the Cross Challenge in Sefton Park which incorporated our club senior championships.
The friendly rivalry between SWAC and Barrow & Furness Striders in the Mid Lancs XC continued at Chorley.
Senior winners Ben Johnson, Stephanie May and James Tartt at our awards evening in December.
